| Proudly celebrating our 65th creative year, Cress Kitchen & Bath is an award winning professional design showroom that specializes in creating incredible kitchens and baths for your home. Our grandfather, Charlie Cress, founded Cress Tile and Linoleum Company in 1948 specializing in Formica, linoleum and ceramic color tile along with plastic and metal wall tile. Charlie is credited with bringing metal tile to the Denver area by becoming the exclusive distributor for the Calloy metal tile company. Originally, Cress was located at 29th and Yates Street in Denver, until 1958 when Charlie expanded his business, constructed a new building, and moved the business to its current location at 38th Avenue and Pierce Street here in Wheat Ridge. |

Our father, Jack Nealon proudly carried on the family tradition and was with Cress for 40 years. During his time at Cress, he expanded the business by adding carpeting, wallpaper, window treatments and draperies. Jerry and Jim joined their father Jack over 30 years ago and over that time have continued to expand the business by adding cabinets, plumbing and lighting fixtures. Faux painting has replaced draperies and wallpaper. Cress is widely known as the original ‘one stop shop’ for kitchen and baths in the Denver area. And even today, with reliability and craft, we continue to provide a comprehensive one-stop service from concept to completion. Our current focus is on designing and creating extraordinary kitchens and baths. |
| Throughout the years, we have maintained the best of talent--designers, manufacturers, and craftsman--making our clients proud to say they have a Cress Kitchen and bath. The coordinated efforts of our staff will exceed your expectations. Over half of our staff has been with Cress longer than 20 years. As a matter of fact, our sales staff has 140 years combined experience at Cress! We pride ourselves on treating our employees and our clients as family. Our friendly staff offers great design capabilities and come with certifications through the National Kitchen and Bath Association. Our in house crew of installation craftsman is part of the job from design to completion. |

Jerry Nealon: President
As the grandson of Charlie Cress, founder of Cress Tile & Linoleum Co. in 1948, Jerry Nealon has been carrying on his grandfather's and father's vision since 1976, more than 30 years. In addition to his role as President of Cress Kitchen and Bath, Jerry also has a very active role in individual design, layout and estimating cost on most projects. We at Cress firmly believe there is nothing like the "owner's eye" on the job everyday to make sure things are done correctly, the first time.
Jerry enjoys working directly with each customer's project, be it an entryway floor, or a complete bathroom remodel. In addition to his education in business management, Jerry attends and participates in numerous classes and seminars in design, color coordination, sales and management. As a certified member of the NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association) Jerry is continuing to expand his knowledge in the latest trends in the industry.
This affords him the ability to not only answer any question you may have, but also seek out additional resources to address all your construction and decorating needs.
Being a native of Wheat Ridge, Jerry attended Saints Peter and Paul grade school and Jefferson High School. He and his wife Carrie were married in March of ’03 and now he is the proud father of Gianna ’04, and Liam ’06. Jerry feels as if he has his "finger on the pulse" of what this community wants and can also offer the very latest in design and home interior trends.
